Today is “Leap Day” something that only happens once every 4 years. It’s these special days that you need to take advantage of their specialty. The number of search engine request for “Leap Day” “Leap Year” and February 29^th will go through the roof the days before and after Feb. 29^th. Making a post in your BLOG with a subject “Leap Day” or “Leap Year” will help you get traffic to you blog and site. Be creative in what you write. Good clients love giving their phone lovers gifts this time of year. The problem is receiving them. No PSO wants to give out their address.

In the past sites like Amazon had wish list that you could set up and a client could go to your list and order you something and it would ship to you without him ever finding out your real name or shipping address. However this is not 100% secure. The only way to be 100% safe with your personal info is to have your client purchase you a Gift Card that can be emailed to you. Google is watching and logging every search we do ... so take advantage!

So you don't think Google is watching and logging in every search we do ..... think again. Nothing you can do about it so might as well take advantage of it.

One way that Google ranks pages to Search terms (key words) is by the links that someone clicks on when they do a search.

For example some one puts in the term "Phone Sex" in Google search. Google serves up pages with a variety of links it thinks are relevant to the search term "Phone Sex". At this point Google is watching the user and based on what link that person clicks on, Google will add ranking points to that site. After a while the sites that are most clicked on will move up in the Google page rank.

So from now on you should only visit your site by going through Google Search. What you do is pick a search term that you want to be associated with. As a default use "Phone Sex" (2 words and in quotes). Now if you try this you may have a very hard time finding your site listed. So you may need to add modifiers to your "Phone Sex" search. One way is to add your character name to the search string. For example if your character's name is Terri then enter the search in Google as "Phone Sex" Teri (keep the quotes around Phone Sex but don't include the character name in the quotes) if you still find it difficult to find your site listed replace your character name with your phone number.

One you have found your site listed in Google go ahead and click on it to display your site. Once your site is displayed DO NOT click away or close your browser so quickly. Stay on your site for a few minutes before clicking on any of the top sites to vote. Google actually watches how long a visitor stays on your site. If they leave right away Google sees this as the site was not relevant to the searcher and wont give your site the ranking points. They call this "Bounce Rate"

So after a few minutes click on the vote buttons on your site. You should vote for yourself on Phonesex Central and PhoneSexLeaderBoard at least 1 time per day and more if you can. Even if you think your votes are not counting you should still vote. Phonesexcentral changes their voting algorithm weekly so one week your votes may not count but the next week they will. The most important reason to vote is that if you don't vote at least a few times weekly your listing will stop appearing on these two site. If you have ever Googled "Phone Sex" you will see that both PhoneSexCentral and PhoneSexLeaderboard are always on page 1 or 2 of the search results. So these two sites gets lots of traffic.

If you have other vote buttons on your site you should also click on them a few times a week... more if those sites are ranking on the first 5 pages of Google.

So from now on NEVER go to your site via your URL - Always Always use Google search to find your site and click on it to get to your site. Always stay on your site for a few minutes before voting or leaving your site.

After a few months you should see your site moving up on the Google rankings. If your really into it, add different modifiers in your Google search using words of the type of calls you do and think that callers might use in their search. For example if you do "small dick humiliation" calls use this as a modifier to the search "Phone Sex".

In addition you should always clear out your browsers cookies before doing a Google search or visiting your site. Also use different browsers from time to time. There is Microsoft IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.If you have a smart phone.. use it to go to your site using the same Google Search technique. If you have a laptop and go to places such as Star Bucks where you can get free Wifi - use the Google search technique. The more different devices searching for your site the better.

PhoneSexLeaderboard.com (PSLB) is a top site that continually ranks on the first page of Google. Because of this you need to have your site listed there. Listing your site is free and your banner will show (for free) as long as you have at least one vote per week. Like other top sites PSLB resets vote counts usually weekly giving you the opportunity to get a higher ranking each week.

When you submit your site to PSLB they require you to put a reciprocal banner link on your site. Before PSLB will list your site, they will visit your site to confirm that their banner and code have been placed on your site. Once approved by PSLB, you will receive an email from them with a “SiteID” code that you need to add to the PSLB code on your site. This is very important as this is how your votes are recorded at PSLB. When someone clicks on the PSLB banner on your site, that special code lets PSLB know that the visitor is coming from your site and records it as a vote for your site. As you get more votes the higher up you move in the banner ranking.

Does moving up help you get calls? Maybe maybe not. Being on page 1 does get you more exposure but you still need to be the type of girl/character the client is looking for and have a banner that catches his eye and text that enhances the banner image.

When you do submit your listing it is important that you place yourself in the right category for your character and the text should be very specific as to the type of calls you do. Be sure to litter your text with key words that someone would use in a search engine to find your type of calls. Keep in mind that these are guys reading your text, and it needs to be something that stirs the need to jerk off.

Some people would argue that putting a banner on your site directing clients to other phonesex services is anti productive. But keep in mind that PSLB always ranks high on Google and as such you need to be listed on PSLB because it gets so much organic targeted traffic that the exposure you get out ways the negative. Plus you can always down play the link on your own site. But you can’t remove it. If you do and PSLB notices it (and they will) your listing on their site will be removed.
Another reason it is important to be listed on PSLB as search engines like Google index all the listings and by doing so gives your own site a better ranking than it would have it you were not listed.

Another important feature on PSLB is the “Click to Rate” option on each shown listing. You should take advantage of this feature and encourage your clients to rate your service. You can go to PSLB and click on the link that is on your listing and then copy that url and send it to your clients in an email, text, IM even Twitter and hopefully they will give you a good rating with comments. It is important that they provide positive comments as these comments help more in rankings than just a vote does. I would even offer your clients a few free minutes on their next call or other perk if they click on the link and provide a good rating with a comment. Tell them to sign it in such away that you will know it was them. Have them get back to you when they have done so, so you can credit them for the free minutes or what ever it was that you promised them. PSLB uses techniques to prevent multiple ratings from the same user. So don’t try and beef up your ratings by doing them all yourself. If PSLB thinks you are, then they may remove your listing.

PSLB also sell small ads that are placed on the right and left and center areas of the site. The rates for these are reasonable but do they payoff? Men are visual creatures and these ads are all visual. So it is just a matter of having the look that the viewer of PSLB is looking for. Ads can be purchased at www.adengage.com

You should check weekly your stats and comments on PSLB and long into your account to show that it is active. If you ever can’t log into your account you should email PSLB ASAP to find out why and take corrective action. If they no longer allow you to be listed on their site you need to remove their link from your site.

If you find that your listing isn’t getting you any callers consider changing out your banner and text and perhaps the category your listed in. Just be sure the category you choose is appropriate for your character.

So your weekly PSLB to do list should include:

• Click on the PSLB banner on your site to cast a vote and to make sure the link still works.

• Log on to your PSLB account to verify your account is still active.

• Get at least one client to rate and comment on your services.

Top sites like PhoneSexLeaderBoard and PhoneSexCentral are always ranked high on Google. These are but two top sites in hundreds that are available. My suggestion is that you go to Google and so a search for “Phone Sex” and “Phonesex” and what ever top sites are listed on the first 4 pages you try and get listed on. Also if your character specializes in a specific type calls like “Domination” you should seek out top sites that only list “Domination” sites and get listed. Even if your character specializes you should be listed on PhoneSexLeaderBoard and PhoneSexCentral.

As with all type of promotions you should always ask your callers where they found you. If you find that some promotions are not working then drop them or change them up.

On Line Classfied ads

In this BLOG entry I want to talk about on line classified advertising. Classified ads are different than listing in adult site directories like Boogle or GoLiveGirls.

If you are not using free on line classified advertising your missing out. You might be under the impression that “No One” reads on line classifieds and so it is a waste of your time. I would agree with you that very few people read a typical on line classified listings. However, the search engines read them all and use them in providing search results. A good properly place ads can bring in calls and also improve your sites “PR” ranking.

For example you post an ad about providing foot fetish phone sex calls. Your web site may reference that you do foot fetish calls but because your ad is listed under a fetish category and it is written in a very descriptive way, litter with foot fetish terms, the search engines rate your ad high on foot fetishes. A potential caller goes to Google and is interested in Foot Fetishes. He types in a few Foot Fetish terms and Google serves up your classified listing in the first page of it search results. The potential caller sees something in your ad that appeals to him and he clicks on the link which is your complete ad with your phone sex number. Hopefully from there he will visit your web site and give you a call.

There are Free classified sites and there are Paid classified sites. Don’t pay for a classified ad until you have tested it on the free classified sites. Some free classified ads sites may require a reciprocal link. If required you should provide a reciprocal link. This builds them traffic as well as building traffic to your site as long as you have a classified ad posted on their site.

There are several “Phone Sex” classified ad web sites and many phone sex sites that have classified sections. To find them Google “Phonesex Classifieds” (be sure to use the “” quotation marks with your key words.) Here are just a few I found that state they are free.

Classified ad are usually text only but many sites now allow you to post small thumbnail size pictures. Pick a picture that is clear and relevant to you your ad. For example if your listing is about Foot Fetishes Phone calls then the picture should be of your feet or shoes or somehow foot fetish related. Be sure to read the sites photo policy so you don’t post a picture or text that is not allowed on the site. Most sites wont warn you, the will just take your listing down and black list you from place future ads.

Most Classified ad sites have categories such as “Teen”, “MILF”, “Fetish” etc. Pick ONE and only one! You don’t want to spam the site. Post in one category today and in a few days or a week post a different ad in another category. It is very important that you don’t post the same ad in different categories. If you do the site will view it as spam and delete and black list you. By placing different ads each week will also insures fresh eyes each week. Most sites will delete the ads after a period of time. Find out what that time frame is and don’t post another ad in that category until your first ad has expired.

Write you ad and choose your photo with the classification / category in mind. Write it so that the reader (your caller) will get intrigued and turned on by it. Be sure to use colorful words / key words. Key words are words that someone might enter into a search engine to find you type of service. If appropriate provide your hair, eye color and bust size. Tell the reader what you like and why they should call you.

There are several sites that are like Craigs List and don’t have true phone sex listings although I have seen post in the “Personals” section on in the “Adult” services (aka escorts) section. Many of these type sites charge $ for placing ads. Before considering paying for an ad in one of these sites, perfect your ad on many of the free sites and see what ad has the most results. Also search these ads for other phone sex listings for ideas. Although the cost of placing an ad might seem small it’s still and expense and a waste of money if it doesn’t produce results. Also if there are not a lot of other phone sex ads listed, then that may be a good indication to skip it. Sites that perform will have a ton of ads.

Track you ad success. When a caller calls ask him where he found you. I know most just say the internet. But ask him about what he saw that got him to call. Tell him that he is not on the clock and that you are interested in what turn him on and got him to call you. Listen carefully to what he tells you. It will give some insight on just what kind of call he wants and what his hot buttons are. Every time a caller gives you ad feed back make a note of it. You will soon see a pattern of what key words work and what one don’t and this goes double with the photo your ad uses. Next time you write an ad look back at your notes and use what your callers have told you. As you already know, what turns on one guy, also turns on 100’s of others.

Business is slow in this economy. To be successful you must seek out and experiment with all sorts of ways to get your web site and phone number and a description of your services out there. Placing on line classified ads is just one that has proven to work. When your phone is not ringing you should be updating your BLOG, posting classified ads, and getting your site listed in on line directories and experimenting with all the ways you can use the web to promote your services.
